Vintage Hand-Modeled Ceramic Dragon and Child Incense Burner

Sculptural ceramic incense burner composed of a wheel-thrown pedestal and bowl supporting a covered central vessel. An applied dragon curves over the vessel to form an arched handle, while a modeled child clings playfully to the dragon's tail. The expressive dragon features an open mouth, articulated teeth, raised eyes, textured scales, and clawed feet. Applied scrolling cloud or wave motifs decorate the vessel and bowl, and the removable domed lid provides access to the interior. Finished in a variegated brown glaze with warm reddish and olive-toned areas.

Excellent overall condition with slight surface wear, discoloration, and residue consistent with age and use. The removable lid remains intact, and no cracks or chips are visible.
